Time X is one of the best XXX youth crew bands coming out of Europe, they play furious fast hardcore mixed up with clever lyrics dealing with social & political issues.
Bloodpact is well known for playing uncompromising, political, super fast & pissed-off xhardcorex. Highly recommended if you dig Infest, Ruination, etc. Their 4 songs are the best & fastest ones they ever did...

What a cool 7" I got here. Although this over quite fast, as of the nature of the bands, you will enjoy this. The A side starts of with Time X from Portugal which is perhaps one of the most talked about old school acts right now from Europe. These guys combine the essence of the era from 87-90, mixing speed, melodic riffing and slowdowns at the right point with an powerful voice and generic but good lyrics. Worth the hype, even for grown ups. ;) Next up: Fastcore gods Bloodpact from the states. Spitting out 2 typical 30 second songs in a row you quickly know WHY this band is connected with the fastcore genre that tight: Pissed off energy delivered in erupting bursts, this is exactly what you want! The third song is quite long and with an untypical, heavy groove, but good as well. Definitively worth the bucks. USA – Europe: Remis, after an intense match! [poisonfree.com webzine]

Wow let me tell you how nice it is to really intelligent SXE hardcore. It’s out there, just sometimes a little hard to find. Anyway that is what Time X is and and there music is of the 97a, youth crew, thrash, and hardcore sound. They sound good, but that’s their lyrics that won my heart. They actually sing about the fucked up body images that women have to try and live up in our society, along with other political fare. This band rocks. Bloodpact play XfastcoreX as their label guy says they do on the promo sheet. They remind me of Infest a bit, and they are good at what they do. Again they’ve good solid political lyrics.
